Summer Arts Day Camp

In our general day camp full of fun & games, campers will also explore the art of music, acting & filmmaking by creating their own movie! No experience Needed!

POLICIES:

Payment will be taken upon registration. Camps must fill the minimum required amount of participants or we may be unable to offer the camp at the currently set prices. If a camp you are interested in does not meet these requirements, DCM may be able to offer the camp at a different rate or length depending on the circumstance, or we may issue a refund. We require a 1 -week notice for cancellations of camps (we must get written notice to info@deepcovemusic.com by Sunday 11:59pm the week before the registered camp) , all other changes are not eligible for refund. DCM reserves the right to refuse refunds for partial attendance of classes. COVID-19 Cancellations: If you are not able to attend the program due to sickness, as long as you cancel prior to the start of the first day of class to info@deepcovemusic.com , a full refund will be provided.

ABOUT THIS CAMP

Participants will take part in a variety of fun experiences, games and activities involving Music, Acting and Filmmaking! No experience necessary! While utilizing locations in our facility, community, local beaches and forests, participants will take part in making a movie together. Activities will include fun improv games, helping write the script, recording music soundtracks to karaoke tracks or with instruments, collecting or making of props & costumes, shooting the scenes, and helping to edit the video into the final product which all culminates in a premiere of the movie on Friday for family and friends!

SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 8:45 am each day
- Pick up is no later than 4:15 pm each day
Each day will consist of fun acting & music-based games/activities moving towards the making and presenting of an original movie and soundtrack.

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE

On Friday, campers will present their movie for family and friends that they’ve been working on all week. The showing will take place at the school at 3pm.

WHAT TO BRING

Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day.
Campers should have sunscreen with them in case we are outside and need to protect ourselves.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Students are not permitted to leave the facility at ANY time unless going on location with camp leaders, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end time
We love our parents, siblings, friends and family members, but please understand that we can only allow students and staff in the school for camps.

PARKING / DROP OFF

Parking is available in our parking lot behind our building which can be accessed through the Raven Pub parking lot to the north of us. Drop off is available directly in front of our building on Deep Cove Road as well. Please bring your child inside rather than dropping them off at the street. A parent or guardian must be present to pick up each camper. We are unable to let students leave the building on their own at any time, or to meet you on the street.

LOCATION

We are located at 1046 Deep Cove Road between the Raven Pub and Bee Haven Daycare.

In this 5-day camp, students will take a deep dive into the work of The Beatles to learn and perform music from one of the greatest bands ever.

Rock 101 camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities.
